Lively discussion about feminist interests in or concerns about the "posthuman" as well as the role animal studies and animal rights play in contemporary feminist theory were among the topics folks brought up in the Second Life reading group's last meeting. People attending this time were many former and current History of Consciousness folks, although a couple of Canadian women's studies faculty were an exciting addition, as well as were some wonderful graduate students from UMD.
